Hi! I'm Elaine Cannon, a Level 5 clinical reflexologist based in Altrincham, Greater Manchester. My path to reflexology has been a winding one, filled with diverse experiences that have shaped my approach to healing and wellbeing.
My career began in the world of languages and European studies, which led me to an exciting decade at the European Commission in Brussels. After relocating to the UK, I ran my own language recruitment agency in Manchester before finding my calling as a primary school teacher - a role I cherished for 13 years.
Throughout these varied experiences, I developed invaluable skills in communication, empathy, and the ability to connect with people from all walks of life. My time as a teacher honed my patience and my talent for creating a warm, nurturing environment - skills that now form the cornerstone of my reflexology practice.
Holistic therapies have always been a passion of mine, with reflexology holding a special place in my heart. It was the one treatment I returned to time and again, finding it invaluable for relaxation and managing my own sleep issues. In 2020, I decided to turn this passion into a new career, embarking on comprehensive training to become a clinical reflexologist.
Now, I'm thrilled to offer reflexology treatments from my cosy pod in Altrincham. I work with adults, young people, and children, tailoring each session to the individual's needs. My areas of special interest include women's health, fertility support, children, and palliative care.
I believe in the power of reflexology to ground the body, clear the mind, and promote healing from within.
